August 1, 2008 - Yoyo cooks to celebrate Best Actor award
Ekin and Yoyo are frequently photographed by reporters. In addition there is always speculation that they are about to break up. They are seen together more often than he was seen with any of his former girlfriends, not only taking her out to eat, but also strolling the street to go shopping. He has even broken with his normal reticence to spend money, buying her a Honda Crossover for her use.
Yoyo on the other hand is sweetly willing to cook for Ekin. The other day Ekin accompanied her to Kowloon to buy vegetables, steaks and other supplies at a Japanese store. Ekin waited quietly in the car, which was double parked, for her while she made her purchases. Because Ekin recently won Best Actor at the Korean Internatinal Film Festival Yoyo wanted to celebrate this major event. When she discovered reporters she smiled for the first time. Being brought up in Hong Kong he ardently loves sports, before Hong Kong was a British Colony, but now it has returned to China so the entire Olympics is watched as Chinese with a great sense of pride. When he was asked which sports he wanted to watch, Ekin laughed and said "badminton competition of course" Ekin said that the opening ceremony was so great that he wanted to see it again when he returned home.If a DVD is produced that would be even better.
Ekin said that currently Yoyo was in Vietnam for a charity event.
He said he was anxious over health issues but he be lived that Yoyo had already had immunizations. Though he had recently won best actor at the 12th South Korean Film Festival he said he foolishly hadn't celebrated but he was happy to have won a prize as he had not had this experience before. Shan Shan immediately said that he didn't wish to spend money to celebrate, he wanted to wait for other people to help him celebrate.
