Ekin and Aaron are both in Thailand to film the Stormriders sequel Stormriders 2. They both arrived in Thailand well before filming began to work out and prepare for their roles. The rest of the cast arrived over the last few days. Yesterday filming began. Aaron arrived at approximately 5 am. However, perhaps it was too early for Aaron to get out of bed because he appeared very inexpressive, though he was polite to reporters. Ekin arrived about a half hour later, by contrast he was full of smiles, laughing and joking with the film crews. He wore orange sneakers and his step was light and relaxed. Reporters speculated that perhaps it could be because he is a man in love. It has been more than 10 years since Ekin and Aaron first collaborated on the original Stormriders movie, which was a box office hit. Both of them have actively been toning their bodies in preparation for this movie. Ekin is once again staying at Emporium Suites, he found time between workouts to spend some time swimming and soaking up the sun at the hotel pool.

Ekin and aaron are working in Thailand on the new Stormriders 2 movie. Yesterday in Bangkok at the Partreet factory, the start of filming ceremony took place. The Lin Xiao Ming the boss of the movie company, together with the director and the two leading actors attended. It attracted media from Hong Kong and all over South East Asia to cover the event. It has been 10 years since the first Stormriders movie, now Ekin and Aaron are once again cast as Whispering Wind and Striding Cloud. This time however, the Peng Brothers will direct the sequel rather than Andrew Lau. the movie has a budget of $100.000,000.
After the ceremony Aaron and Ekin transformed into Whispering Wind and Striding Cloud and began with an acrobatic fighting scene in the snow. Unfortunately Ekin was not cautious enough with the double edged weapon he was using and inadvertently struck Aaron's head causing an injury. Ekin was the first to reach him to see how serious the wound was. Ekin was extremely concerned for Aaron and apologized profusely. Aaron was in pain and squatted down holding his head. The doctor on staff immediately looked at the injury. The wound was not too serious and didn't bleed, but there was a swollen lump. Fortunately, after a little rest Aaron was OK to continue and the injury didn't hinder him. Aaron admitted that it hurt, and laughed saying it was like a ping pong ball,but it was no big thing. He also defended Ekin, saying that neither of them were experts in handling weapons and it could just have easily been the other way around. He said that Ekin possibly exerted too much strength, but anyway the injury was not serious. Both actors said that whenever you do action scenes there is always the possibility of getting injured. Ekin and Aaron both agreed that even though it has been 10 years since they last collaborated there was still a silent contract between them and their mood with each other was still the same.
Ekin said that he felt embarrassed that he had caused Aaron to be hurt, however, in actions scenes it was hard to avoid injury, even though there had been much practice before hand. He opened up his own hands, and the marks of injury were plain to see. He talked about a fight scene in the past, in the rain when he had injured his waist, which still bothered him, he has to use deep breathing and medical treatment and often see the doctor. Ekin said that this time in the movie the degree of difficulty was higher as special skills were needed, however as much as possible, he preferred to do his own action, and not make use of a stunt double.
Last time it was rumored that Ekin and Aaron fought over who would perform the theme song, This time Ekin already says he will not sing, though of course if he was asked then that would also be OK. the director laughed said that he feared a quarrel, so as there were two directors there could be two soloers.
Reporters asked Ekin how come Yoyo had not come to look for him, in the same way Cecilia had come to see Nic . Ekin avoided the topic, only saying that Thailand was comfortable, and immediately changed the topic of conversation. Xiao Ming said as the movie boss he didn't want people visiting, however, it was not possible to forbid a person's wife from visiting, but it can start a publicity event.
The Peng brothers that the movie was proceeding smoothly. They have allocated three months for filming, and they anticipate that it may release next year at Christmas time.

Ekin was met at Chongqing airport by more than 60 enthusiastic fans welcoming him to their city. Ekin was accompanied by the 霍元甲 director. They were in Chongqing to participate in a radio interview to promote the latest broadcast area for 霍元甲. Ekin was happy to see his fans and was touched by their warm welcome even though it was clear he was very tired.. Fans said that his pleasant personality had not changed. Some fans in a red car waited outside for Ekin and then followed his car... they were so excited that they nearly had an accident. Ekin later asked reporters to remind his fans that safety was most important, he added that he really was very anxious about them.
Ekin talked about the filming of 霍元甲...how hard it had been to be away from Hong Kong for so long, he also added that while his head was shaved he didn't want to meet anyone, but looking back on it , it wasn't so bad.and he might do it again.
Ekin also said that right now he is not considering marriage. He said that currently he and Yoyo's relationship was very good, but he is currently thinking about his career, and has no marriage plans. He also said that he was a completely traditional man so once he does marry he would never divorce, so it was not easy to get married. Of course, it is not to say that he will never marry, but right now his focus is on his career.
Ekin talked about his current role in Stormriders 2, he said he was certainly embarrassed that his mistake had caused Aaron to be hurt. The movie doesn't resemble the first movie this time there was many action scenes. His control over a sword wasn't good in 霍元甲 in Beijing is was very cold..and it was easy to bump yourself and get injured, completely no way to endure it. He also talked about his relationship with Jordan, he said that they were good friends, but he considered Jordan to be the older brother, and he learned al lot form him, if you had to compare then he would consider jordan to be better.
Ekin remembered the last time he had been in Chongqing for a Shiseido promotion. Then he said that 10 thousand people had stopped the traffic, and for the sake of safety his scheduled appearance to sing had to be canceled, he said he really regretted that it had to happen, because he knew his fans were disappointed. He said now he could apologize to them and he would amend it in the future.
Ekin and director 关锦鹏 remained in Hinging City today and were joined by 周牧茵 and 屈玥则 for a television station 2 hour extravaganza. The release and promotion of 霍元甲 is designed to coordinate with this year's Olympic Games, and the series will begin to be shown in Chongqing beginning May 5th. Ekin's entrance was meticulously planned by the TV station who threw down a red carpet for him to walk on. Ekin's red T-shirt showed of his stature and contrasted well with his black jacket and hair. Ekin was in good spirits and smiled readily. However, more than 300 fans were at the scene and they scared Ekin and he stumbled almost falling, however Ekin balanced himself and just rushed forward, he said that the fans were too excited. Ekin demonstrated the martial arts movements and slowly taught some of the fans to avoid the sword, Ekin's frame of mod was good, when he left the the stage, excited fans pounced toward him and he quickly enter the lobby. A number of fans who were invited by a newspaper were allowed on stage to give him flowers.
Today Ekin arrived in Tianjin together with the director and other cast members. They arrived at the former residence of Huo Yuan Jia and once again met with his descendants. The whirlwind 3 city promotional tour is to celebrate the broadcast premiere of the series by satellite TV. At the former residence of Huo Yuan Jia. Ekin once more wanted to show respect and went to the tomb to offer flowers.. Hua Yuan Jia's great grandson had already seen the new series, he once again said that he felt completely satisfied with the new drama. He expressed his gratitude and personally demonstrated the Huo fist. He invited Ekin to join him to demonstrate the Huo fist. The family has over a hundred photographs including a photo print of the secret Huo fist which he gave to Ekin There is only one original copy left in the world and so it is completely precious. The director was also give a present of a Huo family sword. Guan Jin Peng immediately drew the sword to spectator cheers.
