Ekin attended " On a Green Sunny and Cloudless Day start out press conference" at 881 radio station. This was an environmental protection event.

Earlier there had been a number of reports suggesting that Ekin's parents were unhappy with his current girlfriend Yoyo because she had indicated that she didn't like children and had no intention of raising children. Ekin denied that his parents were discontent with Yoyo and he said that their relationship had not changed.

Ekin spoke of that day when he was filming he was harassed in the dining hall by other guests, which caused him to feel very ill at ease. He also said that he didn't believe that Hong Kong people had this much enthusiasm about a celebrity, would send a telegram to announce material. Before even had the paparazzi obstruct his home with a vehicle for the purpose of taking photographs. He said that this kind of thing really was too excessive, it not only caused him embarrassment but it also hindered his neighbors access to their homes.

He once again declared that it was untrue that his parents disliked his current girlfriend. He likened the reports in these magazines to trash,"it simply is a waste of paper and very bad for environmental protection, the higher the sales volume the greater the waste" he added. This is publicity, You work and then you need to be in the news, after that the drama or movie will be successful. Then he said that he really thought that he wouldn't respond any more to to this as basically it was nonsense.

Last night Ekin was seen in the street without Yoyo drinking heavily so that he threw up.

In fact he was filming a scene for his newest movie. Late at night he was wearing shabby clothing, and standing beside a bicycle. The scene to be filmed involved him being seen to drink so much that he vomits. The filming attracted many people surrounding the film set to watch. Ekin's acting was praised, people saying that looking drunk on a street corner and about to vomit, looked very real.

Ekin's record company BMA has just signed Ella Koon. Ekin has been so busy filming that he has yet to voice an opinion.

On October 7, 2007, TVBS will broadcast the best of the On the Road series. Ekin's segment at Phuket in Thailand will be included.

Last night Ekin was Leo Ku's special guest at the The Magic Moments Live 2007 concert. When Ekin came on the stage wearing black, the audience erupted into loud applause and shouting, chanting "EKIN EKIN EKIN" The scene was very lively. Leo was very moved and three times he hugged Ekin. They sang 友情岁月 together on stage. Afterwards Leo said that they had known each other a long time, and although later each was busy in a different way, he still felt that Ekin was his big brother while he was just a small tiger. So when he was looking for a variety line up for this concert he first heard Ekin sing this song, and his heart was suddenly touched. After saying this however he basically took Ekin's gossip and teased him. He said he knew he needed to seize him but he didn't know how to play badminton with him "Sorry".This brought a big smile to Ekin's face. After wards he sang alone 一生只爱你一个.

Today Ekin, Shawn Yue, and Stephanie Che attending the start of filming ceremony for their new movie 《第一诫》. The movie will be directed by Singapore director Tan Yong Jian. Ekin plays a policeman, but he frequently drinks excessively, completely collapsing. Ekin said filming had already begun and a scene with him falling apart through drink has already been filmed. Ekin said that although not a fight scene it is still very had work. The director wanted to film him falling apart because he was the worse for drink.

Stephanie Che plays his ex-wife. The two will also have a bed scene. Although there is a scene undressing, in fact will be wrapped in a towel. Reporters asked him if he would let his girlfriend know about these scenes. Ekin at once explained that he was an actor so of course he didn't need to put it on record for his girlfriend.

Recently there has been a personnel change at BMA. Ekin said he doesn't very often go there, but in fact Lam Shan Shan had already mentioned it in passing.

Yesterday Ekin acknowledged that next month together with Lam Shan Shan and the BMA Boss Luo Jie Cheng he will start a joint venture to open a company. The new company will be under the BMA label. Ekin said that this time he will share being the boss and it will be a BMA collaboration. Reporters wondered if the new company might be called E-music. Ekin wouldn't add more but said likely will have an 'E' in the name. Lam Shan Shan said that they had not yet implemented the company name so wouldn't announce anything publicly, however Ekin already gave away some hints.

Singapore director Tang Yong Jian began filming his new movie 《第一戒》 a few days ago. Ekin and Shawn Yue will perform as the two leading male actors. This is the first time Ekin has collaborated with a Singapore director. Ekin can't refrain from a big sigh, very difficult and hard work, he impolitely said that the director's English is good and his Chinese is good, but his Cantonese is nonexistent. As to why he asks for trouble he sighs with feeling, " I'm crazy!"

It 's said that a week after Ekin saw the script he agreed to be in the movie. He said, " I have never collaborated with a Singapore director before, this is the first time, he merely explain the content of the story, and I felt it had interest, and in Hong Kong haven't before filmed a similar movie.

However on the first day he tasted suffering. "In Hong Kong just start filming comparatively simple, but he didn't, first days filming is focal point scenes, wah! great mental suffering, ah! I'm crazy! First and second days film some comparatively important scenes. He continuously corrects the script, but we correct it together, we can give him our opinions. Is difficult, quite a challenge.

Ever since Tony Leung and Ang Lee movie "Lust, Caution" with it's explicit sex scenes, it had become the topic of conversation, almost every actor has to suffer questions about it, willing or not willing to take off clothes type of questions." Although it has been reported that in this movie Ekin will have some intense scenes , Ekin shook his head, " this I cannot say"

As to the whether he would or would not take clothes of question, "He has thought before that is doesn't matter and actor has to perform the scenes, but most important is whether the script is worth it or not to do this. I'm OK not have problem." Reporters wonders if his girlfriend would accept such a scene. Ekin suggested that they ask her, as he was a professional actor so no problem,. he also said if she answered them or not was her own concern. ' From an actors point of view there is no problem, but have to see if or not there is this need, if it is not needed then not do it."

People always are curious as to Ekin and Yoyo's level of progress. Although Ekin doesn't say much, he also doesn't avoid discussing his feelings, and it is difficult for him to cover up his contented smile. " With ordinary people the same, have a partner. Of course it is sweet, if it wasn't then we would part. I think why discuss it with you reporters, it is impossible to explain to the Hong Kong media, because the media's nature is not the same. Next month Ekin will be 40 years old, also should face marriage, but he says temporarily haven't thought about it. " Really, one day think probably will definitely do it, but today have not thought about it." Reporters wanted to know if it ever was going to happen would he make it public. Ekin said that even if not public then will resemble magazines, he has reportedly been married many times in those. In fact haven't been married even one time. if indeed such a case, no problem, I will tell other people, it won't be secretly, however, currently I have no such plans.

In other news, 10 years ago Andy Lau filmed Stormriders, recently he has plans to continure the story. But at the same time Universal has supported Peng Shun to adapt and start to film this manga. Both sides surprisingly are looking to Aaron and Ekin. Andy Lau used Aaron and Ekin to film the two lead roles. As a consequence the box office for this film was in excess of 4 million. Within the past few days Peng Shun has Universal's support with a 7 figure amount is deliberating with the manga'a writer the copyright and start to make a movie. it's reported that Peng Shun also want's Aaron and Ekin to play the leading roles. On the other hand, Andy Lau is also already engaged in script writing work although he doesn't know whether he would use Aaron and Ekin. Ekin's manager Lam Shan Shan was not forthcoming with reporters, saying that Andy Lau had already been answered. in another part of the country Aaron declared publically that he hadn't made any reply .

This year the new drama Huo Yuan Jia from Ekin and Jordan celebrates the end of filming by it's first broadcast on October 9th at 8pm. Guang Dong Pearl River TV Station will be the first to broadcast it. Yesterday the director 关锦鹏 together with Ekin, Jordan and Zhou Mu Yin appeared in Guangdong to publicize the drama. Ekin's shaved head as Huo Yuan Jia is no longer in evidence, his predecessor 25 years ago actually became a monk, Jet Li has also portrayed the same character.

Regarding constantly being a target of the media, Ekin helplessly said, " Until now everyone still shows concern for my feelings more than for my work, however, life has successes and failures, high's are good, lows are also good. When things are not good I am able to find something to enjoy so as not to taste this." Ekin feels that playing this character he enjoyed the first time to take such a risk. Jordan Joked that he and Ekin didn't have any spark between them. When he heard Ekin would play Huo Yuan Jia didn't know or not whether it was bad, afterwards the more you watched the more he resembled him, the more he performed the more he resembled him, he overlapped Huo Yuan Jia. Jordan described Ekin as calm and even tempered and shows a complete grandeur. Jordan also talked about his predecessor in the 1981 TV drama of Huo Yuan Jia, he said that taking on the role was certainly a lot of pressure. Jet Li has also portrayed Jordan's Chen Zhen character in the past, however Jordan felt that the 1981 drama was the most difficult to surpass, because he is not Chen Zhen but an actor.

In the years of the Young and Dangerous series Ekin's career was at its height, it also caused Ekin and Jordan to become good friends. In the Intervening 10 years Ekin has often been the target of the gossip press. his career seemed to have difficulty. 关锦鹏 however, selected these two good friends to be in the new edition of Huo Yuan Jia and become the new generation's heroes. Regarding the audience speculation, Ekin talked about his many years in the industry, and no matter whether the audience makes it a success or a failure, he believes in his performance. 关锦鹏 defended his choices saying that Ekin will show everyone a different Huo Yuan Jia from the past versions. While Ekin and Zhou Mu Yin sat nearby he praised their performances. It was hot and Ekin perspiring had to wipe his face. He also considerately gave Zhou Mu Yin some tissues. 关锦鹏 went on to say that both Ekin and Jordan really found the essence of their characters.

Ekin and Charlene yesterday attended RTHK as publicity ambassadors at a promotional event. Ekin explained that in the past he had been invited to film a program related to the ocean, however he hadn't had time to finish it.

A few days ago director Wang Jing criticized Ekin during an interview, saying that he had entered the profession many years ago , but still is a piece of white paper and that his acting skill hadn't made progress. Ekin said that he didn't take this to heart, "Can do nothing about it, born with a personality, I'll soon be 40 years old, I'm confident and anyway I'm still young enough to collaborate with Charlene."

It is circulating that Ekin and his manger Lam Shan Shan are breaking away to start a new company from scratch. Ekin admitted that Shan Shan early intend to form a company herself, but still will collaborate with BMA.

Regarding Peng Shun and Andrew Lau's plans to film a new "Stormriders", Ekin laughed and said, that both of them had separately sought him, however he doesn't have time to meet with them and so currently it is not decided. Whether the old cast will film again is still unknown. He added that he intends to study the market requirement before deciding whether or not to agree. Currently Ekin is filming 《第一诫》. However one of his co-stars is suffering from an eye infection, so currently filming is suspended.
