Ekin has always enjoyed playing video games. He feels that the games have become art products. He spoke of when he was young and growing up, his family didn't have the money to buy any kind of electronic games. So it wasn't until he was enrolled in TVB's drama school that he was able to buy his first electronic game. Like a number of other actors, he keeps his PSP with him when he is filming. He has liked to play electronic games since he was filming the Young and Dangerous series. He still likes very much to play, and in addition it also helps to pass the time waiting on the set.

Ekin and new mainland actress 霍思燕 were in Central filming, producer Fang Ping's new movie, in the early hours of yesterday morning. 霍思燕 was also in "I want to be Famous" with Ekin and 劉青雲. In this movie 霍思燕 plays a blind woman. In the scene Ekin delivered 霍思燕 to the doorway of her building. The two look at each other in love in this scene. 霍思燕 holds Ekin's hand and gives him a bracelet. Ekin looks at her sweetly.

Suddenly his cell phone rang, Ekin then quickly left. At the scene the producer, however did not stop taking pictures. Ekin is a canon camera spokes person, naturally he wants to provide his professional opinion.

Ekin talked about the scene. He said, "in the scene I just returned from a business trip and met my massage therapist, so I walked her home. I will have love affairs with her in this movie. Filming has only been begun for one or two days, so the business trip scene will be later.

Since Ekin parted company with former girlfriend Gigi Leung his career has begun to take off. Last December he was in Japan to film an advertisement for Seiko in his capacity as the Asia spokesperson for this product. The advertisement is reminiscent of Ekin's earlier movies with a hero image, namely Young and Dangerous, Tokyo Raiders and Legend of Speed in which he is seen in a red sports car. Seiko hopes that Ekin's image of vitality will attract a lot of young consumers. The advertisement mainly focuses on the Criteria men's wrist watch. To make the advertisement they specially rented a depot near the sea. During June the advertisements will air in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. Many more of Ekin's fans across Asia will have a chance to come across him once again.

Ekin and Alex Fong over the last few days have been filming James Yuen's new film. Alex Fong plays a police officer, who needs to interrogate a suspect played by Ekin. In the scene Alex levels a pistol at Ekin. Ekin plays an offender who was in the past detained in Thailand, because of the plot of the story Ekin has needed to study the Thai language. He never thought he would have to say a lengthy speech. But Ekin indicated that this time he has started to study Thai from scratch, though when he was in Thailand to film Ultra man, during breaks from filming he learned a few words from the film crew.

Sudden Weekly recently reported that last month neighbor's saw Ekin's Range Rover parked in the parking lot of the building where Maggie Sui lives. Rumor is that early hours of the morning on May 20, 2006 he visited Maggie's home.

Ekin bought his Range Rover in August 2005, within a month Maggie also bought a similar vehicle. In addition in April 2006 Maggie suddenly moved back to a former residence. In the past Ekin had said he would care for Maggie all his life, by repenting and again chase Maggie. This information is the speculation of Maggie's neighbors.

Last year Maggie was seen slim, mature and beautiful in an advertisement, however her friends have divulged that she didn't forget Ekin. Last April she moved back to North Point, into a building on the same road where she and Ekin had lived in the past. In addition she received roses on her birthday in February. Reporters speculated that they were from Ekin, however Maggie only smiled and didn't answer them. It seems that risking Gigi's jealously, Ekin has continuously supported Maggie economically all along. When Ekin bought his Range Rover in August, then a month later Maggie bought a Land Rover in the same series, again reporters speculated that it was because of Ekin. Maggie again smiled sweetly and told them she would say nothing.

Suddenly Weekly's reporters approached Ekin's manager for proof as to whether Ekin spent the night at Maggie's home. Ekin's manager said that she hadn't heard Ekin had any new girlfriend, when reporters retorted that "really! Maggie Sui isn't a new girlfriend but rather an old lover" Shan Shan was unable to stop a smile, she didn't deny that Ekin had returned to rebuild an old friendship.

Regarding the report Ekin replied via his manager Lam Shan Shan. He indicated that absolutely he has not made any report to her, since they want to make up a story, they also have no means to verify this kind of story. Ekin was very angry that reporters have continually harassed his parents on this issue. He said, " I am an actor I will speak or not about my private life". He was adamant however, that on no account were reporters to again disturb his parents.

Reporters also questioned Gigi concerning the rumor. Her face was dark as she refused to answer. She said she had heard it but didn't have any opinion. They asked her if Ekin had wished her happiness. She has said in the past that even though they split up they were still friends, and friends wished each other happiness and also valued a person's decisions. Asked whether she believed the rumors that Ekin was again seeing Maggie, she said that she only had what the journalists wrote.

Famous fortune teller 吴佩孚 said that Ekin and Maggie's fates were entwined, but with Gigi only related to intense emotions. He felt that still this year not clear whether Gigi still bother him. If Maggie is with Ekin again she should beware Gigi not again intervene.

A few days ago Sudden Weekly reported that one of Maggie Sui's neighbors had seen Ekin visiting Maggie's apartment in the early hours of the morning. Ekin said that this was a fiction and didn't bear analysis. He went on to deny that he had visited Maggie's apartment. Yesterday, Ekin for his latest movie publicity accepted media interviews. When asked whether he was back with Maggie, he answered immediately "NO" He also felt that is was ridiculous, the magazine merely compiled a story, then even asking my parents is even more false. He pointed out that the magazine didn't have photographic proof, and in addition there are several versions which caused him to laugh so hard he cried. Asked if he had a friendship relationship with Maggie he was also not willing to confirm this.

Ekin was resentful about the way these magazines describe him, he was briefly very angry about the pictures taken when he was filming in Thailand and the comments made about his swim trunks. He pointed out that swimming is a very normal sport, and he didn't know why they felt the need to use these kind of words.

However reporters said maybe it could be a double meaning, except for the physiological meaning, intended to mean that after breaking up with Gigi his career as reached a new high. Ekin more calmly said he would have to see if that was their point of view, but he was an optimistic person. "I am doing things I like, perhaps there are people who feel before i was not all that good, nevertheless now I work very hard, in fact in that I haven't changed."

Reporters however felt that his personality had changed. In the past felt he was relatively wooden, but now he was much more lively and amusing. During the interviews he often joked causing the atmosphere to be become relaxed.

Ekin plans to produce a book to relate to his life experience point of view. But he was not willing to divulge whether he would cover his relationships with Maggie and Gigi. He said, " Buy it, then you will know, otherwise how can I swindle you into buying it?" He also plans to produce an album by the end of the year. Currently he already working on its composition.

Ekin has 2 movies Anna in Kung Fu Land and Divergence which will air on Channel 62. In Anna in Kung Fu Land he stars with Miriam Yeung. He was asked about the kisses with Miriam. Ekin said that in those past years films there were a lot of kisses and he was on the verge of forgetting how it was with who. However it was still good to have a little impression. He remembers that this was filmed in Japan, and because it wa improper he was anxious the police would move them on, so the filming was hurried and embarrassing, even so far as the result was not ideal. Had to return to Hong Kong to patch it up.

As to Divergence he only one time know Angelica Lee, about to play husband and wife. In the bedroom scene although wasn't any kiss, he feels that the more simple the scene, the more difficult to do. In that scene he wore a sleeveless top, he had to support Angelica. He was embarrassed because hot and afraid she would smell his armpits, fortunately he didn't smell bad. The movie won some awards for action and also for Aaron how did he feel about his acting skills. Ekin indicated that every actor is on a different journey, when he films he wants to do his best work, he is not thinking about awards. He only wants to work with a good director and good co-stars.

James Yuen's new film 《天行者》 yesterday the movie company made use of a use of a large yacht for the film. Later they still will go to Thailand for other location shots. The actors in the movie are Ekin, Nikki Chow, Stephen Fung, Berg Ng, Julian Cheung , Lai Yiu Cheung, Guo Feng and Lung Ti. A number of these actors were filming in the sun. Everyone was hot and sweating, but they all admired the luxurious yacht.

Ekin, who already has a small yacht, when he saw it he very much wanted to own it. He said he had discussed with Chilaim maybe they should put their minds together and start a science and technology business or maybe a restaurant so then could have the opportunity to have a yacht like this. Reporters laughed and went on to joke with him saying that maybe he should look for a rich company chairman's daughter. Ekin laughed and said that this also was a shortcut.

Reporters talked about methods of pursuing women, they pointed to a report of how Xu Jin Heng to pursue Michelle Reis had a whole edition advertisement to wish her happy birthday. Ekin's waist problem didn't heal, he said that fortunately the director let him shift the action scenes to avoid having to get to the old trouble. He said his massage doctor said it really isn't caused from filming, but more likely from when he was young roller skating he often fell down, however, whether he can fix the injury he also doesn't know.

Last evening Ekin attended the WWF 25th Anniversary Banquet in his capacity as Hong Kong's Ocean Ambassador. It was a charity fundraising event. The theme of the Banquet was " Heavenly Sea" and carried ocean protection news. Ekin said that he rarely attended such formal events but he has been the Ocean Ambassador for 3 years so therefore I am responsible for advocating environmental protection information for the ocean. In fact the rally had offered the option of going to the Philippines to observe whales. Ekin hoped he would be able to go and observe the environmental protection establishment so he could bring back the information to Hong Kong.

Ekin indicated that he was currently very busy filming and would be returning to Thailand for location shots.

Himself with a background in children's programs can also call Ekin a child king. A few days ago for James Yuen's new movie started filming. Ekin and his friends braved a rainy night to go out to eat sushi. They went to a specialist Japanese style restaurant in Kowloon City. Ekin sat facing the entrance talking with his friends. Two policemen outside the restaurant shone a flashlight into Ekin's Range Rover to take a look, but Ekin continued beside his friends to eat and talk.

Recently on the internet Ekin recommended The Alchemist by Brazilian author Paolo Coelho. The story describes how a shepherd boy's dream causes him to embarks on a journey. The book is internationally acclaimed and has sold millions of copies worldwide.
