Ekin will publish his first book this month 《我相写我心 Looking Into Ekin's Eyes》 He will use images to express his feelings, has more of a feel of a picture book than a literary work. Since he parted company with Gigi he has been silent and refused to discuss any reasons or feelings, however in the book he has broken this rule and he discusses his observations on love. He says, " Love needs to be a process, you cannot all at once jump and have a result" It is unknown whether he is referring to his experience of separating from Gigi.

Ekin additionally points out that his most indispensable life's companions are his cats Bao Bao and Mianhuatang. He uses this topic to share different opinions on human life. He says that his cat's have a temper and they don't give you any concessions just because you are the one who gives them food. He also talks about the fact that although he still loves excitement in life, he still needs space, so now he most often will choose tranquility.

As his new book is about to be published, Ekin's excited mood is difficult for him to cover up. He mentioned that while he was preparing the book he went out with his camera everyday, and also discussed his ideas with Patrick Tang. Secondly, together with his musical director Chen Guangrong, Ekin is in the process of writing a new song and making a video that he feels is appropriate to go with the book. Ekin said that the song and the MV will be broadcast on BMA's web site.

Ekin has a tight production schedule over the next few days, not only the publication of his book 《我相写我心 Looking Into Ekin's Eyes》, but also the recording of a new song and MV to accompany it. The publication dates are fast approaching. The new song will be called “感官世界” written by Patrick Tang and the music composed by Chen Guangrong. In addition Fiona Fung will provide the backing vocals. Ekin and Chen Guangrong have been working together for the past days to refine the song, they have a good mood, but there is a seriousness behind it , and not surprisingly tempers occasionally get a little frayed. The sound recording is already complete, and should be available to hear on the BMA web site shortly.

Yesterday for the 6th time Ekin went to Thailand to film. In fact , BMA has invested $20million for the movie 《天行者》 causing Ekin to become half Thai. A few days ago the BMA boss and his wife went to Thailand to meet up with the cast., they invited Ekin and San San to join them for a shark fin meal. Ekin is totally absorbed in his work and talked standing up. He clearly didn't miss his former girlfriend Gigi, and had an outgoing frame of mind. Further he is mentally prepared to meet a new person an is not in the shadow of his old loves. There are nine male actors in this movie, however Ekin said that they all admire him because he is single, and can with other women eat a meal and walk in the street fearlessly, media merely can take pictures, that's it.

Media asked about whether the reasons for his split from Gigi was because they rarely saw one another, their personalities were not compatible, and because dealing with feelings were not good which gave a lot of pressure. Ekin said that he had heard people say this, but he has already said one time, so it is pointless to keep repeating it. Asked if he was over the hurt of the breakup he repeatedly nodded. Again asked if he quietly admit what they said, he finally said that the matter was past., and anyway as an actor he can be sure that the weekly publications will voluntarily continue the story.

They talked about Gigi's recent interview, Ekin just said , "Don't go there, it would be better if you didn't again mention this." He added that his own intention to move house, was unrelated to Gigi. Ekin agreed that he was ready to accept a new love, unlikely he would be frightened by old feelings, however until now didn't see anyone who caught his eye.

Ekin brought the media to see the aquarium, many Hong Kong and Thai women met him and praised his look and enthusiastically ask to join him. Ekin welcomed them all to be in the pictures. His first girlfriend 梁芷珊 is one of the reporters who follow him. she asked if he had ever come here with his partner, he laughed and said he had, but he was unlikely to bring a new partner there. In fact he didn't have a girlfriend so he didn't actually know. She asked him where he would take a girlfriend. Ekin said, will talk about that when he has a girlfriend.

Last week Ekin went our to eat with two record company friends, While he was eating his cell phone rang. He took the call in the doorway but covered his mouth to keep the call private. He talked for about 5 minutes before returning to his seat and friends. He and his friends left around 9:30pm and he left in his car.

《天行者》 is currently filming in Thailand. The temperature is very hot in excess of 30C. Ekin,Stephen Fung and Alex Fong, filmed a gun battle fight scene in a local abandoned train station. Ekin is threatened by Stephen in an assassination scene. Stephen needed to wear leather shirt, which of course made him perspire. Reports indicated that real guns were used in the scene. The three had studied seriously how to fire the guns.

The female lead 胡静 is collaborating with Ekin for the first time, she has also kept in mind his news, she didn't feel that Ekin showed any effect of being hurt by his break - up with his girlfriend in addition she praised his appearance as very handsome, but she emphasized that she merely admired his film record. She was not leaning to admire him, filming except for everyone is individual, difficult to produce a love spark. Ekin said that night's filming was the first time he met 胡静, so right now he didn't have any special feeling, however she had said his mandarin was not bad, and that increased his confidence.

Ekin has parted with his girlfriend, and that has caused Alex Fong to also yearn for single man's freedom, he said that if he went out for a meal with other women, the press would make it very troublesome, but Ekin can do it now and not have to explain too much. However, Stephen retorted that Ekin often stays at home so he doesn't admire it that much. However, earlier on the internet it was spread that Stephen's girlfriend 莫文蔚 has a blood scar on her back caused by Stephen's cruel treatment of her. This state of affairs is serious and it has hurt his image, he has decided to let his attorney deal with it, Stephen said he was not this kind of man but clearly this was a personal attack, he still he knew some people would believe these nonsense rumors.

BMA boss 罗杰承 said that the company would invest in three movies this year, mainly this was to support the BMA performers to have more performance opportunities. Although the home entertainment market is still not that good, nevertheless BMA plan to use the mainland market, compared to before, it is easier to grasp this market. He was full of praise for Ekin as a long standing veteran actor, and will arrange, even more work for him to help him restore his career.

Ekin spoke to The Sun regarding his relationship with Maggie Sui. He said that at first he had not thought to say anything about it, but once again magazines are making up stories. Since he split with Gigi, the media has consistently speculated that he returns to Maggie. Ekin has only ever had relationships with 3 women, 黎芷珊, Maggie Sui and Gigi Leung.

Ekin said that because he is an actor all his love affairs are followed with interest. Outsiders can't understand internal deep feelings, and of course this provides food for thought. I think everyone remembers former partners, I think everyone has this experience. It's merely I am an actor, and my number of partners is comparatively few.

Probably because of the public undertaking I took in those years with Maggie, cause people to think that I will do what I said. In fact at the time that was my idea. But everyone makes mistakes, this is all already past.

I had a friend once ask me if Maggie and I can remain friends. If we are not public figures to arrange such a thing is comparatively simple. Actually our relationship is not complicated, but currently the media messing with it is too complicated. In fact friends do not need to see each other often. Take Jordan for example, in a year we maybe see each other one or two times, but absolutely we are friends.

Although I am an actor, my feelings are simple. Also it is not as the magazines sometimes read. Now the media deals in tricks, I can see bystander's point of view, the plot of the story must be interesting.

Originally I had thought not to clear this up, however magazines continue to create the story that I am with Maggie. I merely want to say, My car then was in Kowloon, really isn't in the North Point area near Maggie's home as the magazines reported.

Ekin continued to talk to The Sun. He admitted that because both himself and Gigi seriously focused on their careers hadn't considered marriage. Most important is that in the past they were happy. As to the break up, Ekin's surface attitude was the same, but feel's it is most important to remember partners, and also in the past there was a marriage intention, but both people cut it down, not one, finally each of us wanted to go in a different direction. Currently I am enjoying being unattached, but someday if I have a partner still I will display great open-heartedness. Every individual learns from a setback, follows 2 stages of feelings, I have learned to enjoy.

I have media friends who have said to me this break up with Gigi, I handled better than the last time with Maggie. In fact my attitude is the same, my feelings on the matter I am unlikely to say too much, merely the media have handled it comparatively well already.

People grow up, thoughts will change as you become mature. Regarding love, my observations are still the same, when it arrives, it arrives, on the other hand, when it leaves, then it leaves, these things are mostly not under your control, but most significant of course, it to understand how to enjoy the process. Face a time when you turn around and realize these feelings really aren't blank, the process has a high degree of your own duty. Let every one remember to keep in mind is already adequate because I reel to remember is most important.

When a feeling is unexpectedly lost then obviously not happy, because I am merely an ordinary, normal person. In fact the was a time when I also have though about the marriage question. However the most important opinion is that both sides must have synchronous timing, also important that it is of the same intensity. Everybody experiences this, you can only blame fate.

In the third installment of Ekin's Sun interviews he talked about the low time in his life and how he feels now, completely depending on his view of human life. Ekin understands insight, has support, and flight, loss, when he encountered low points of his career he remembers hard times with little to do, however it was kind of sweet. People all regard the high, low, ups and downs as serious, but I am unconcerned, because my motto is the more unhappy you are, only then do you discover what happiness is, if haven't ups and downs then life is very boring. In fact early when I enter the acting training course, I already experienced a low point, believe it or not I was identified by the the teacher as the worst in the whole class, at any time out of the game's person. Then later I easily manage, so much so that ask I explain my my mood at that time. It was the same time that Li family was also popular. Afterwards, I gritted my teeth to pull through, try exam,sign an agreement, I'm not out of the game, then work hard in order to make filming drama's a good foundation. My start was not at all smooth, eternally I arranged to film drama's some of which were unlikely to be broadcast, but I at the same time met with the group in the martial group to pay respects. I listen to Eason Chan's "To my friend" gave me a very deep feeling, truly friends and enemies are ar different section at different place. At that time i easily handled them, look at them for match, but today I thank them, when we meet there is still talk and have a laugh, because I didn't have this section's hard grind and practice, so I could not advance.

So early career land again in a low place, I not regard as a difficult time. Although from busy to idle, followed albums, movies altogether exploded, until movies have work start I am able to ask " ai! a little peace and quiet, easily resembles a person's momentum can slip and fall" I don't say the worry was exactly false, nevertheless mentally very fast, then can recover. I will admit it was necessary to endure this stage, I daily wanted to go and have fun, but I didn't have time. Now I can not work, have a vacation, easily let myself rest. In the past people have mentioned frequently that my success came from variety, now not so much variety, in this way not a good display, so it's likely people won't say this anymore.

Today in the Sun Ekin talked about his relationship with his manager Lam Shan Shan. Besides his lovers, Ekin has no shortage of personal supporters. There was recently gossip concerning Shu Qi, also there is his manager Lam Shan Shan who is his life's most important woman. He mentioned that with Shan Shan has the relationship has been there since the start. He also knows a number of women in the entertainment industry, including Kristy Yeung "Stormriders" an also fond of Shu Qi. Shu Qi and I indeed get along well, therefore we can become good friends. Everybody is happy when get the chance to intersect each other. Each time we meet would be ramble on about anything. I appreciate seeing Shu Qi often. As to my manager Shan Shan everybody estimates that though friends from the start, only now trust. In those years Shan Shan was stubborn and often blamed the reporters. Now of course she is not like this. Also in those days I was with BMG record company for a long time, she transferred from another department to take over. We meet, first thing she blame me, her character is tenacious and unbending, she also talks this way. Then she said to me, " I consent to takeover and make you, you accept go daily to a singing person sing songs", " A singing person, sing songs, I don't need" How guess in that one sentence she simply manage, to make a long story short I did it. Another time she show no mercy say I sing wrong, as a result I told her " I am a singer, if you talk to me this way, I won't have the confidence to sing" Actually I cannot accept receiving criticism, just hope she reflect on her own opinions, fortunately, everyone has a common direction to make things turn out well. Therefore when we get along we can sometimes reflect and retreat a step. She altered my negative attitude, before i often declined dramas, didn't then do negative things, Young and Dangerous I had already declined several times. But Shan Shan then with me held the opposite view, in her world everything is possible. You cannot completely deny every chance, so she always persuades me. " do ..first .....don't try don't know ..right!" Through many years grind, we from the beginning agreement have become closely balanced and mutually trust each other. Worthy I still am not, when a manager takes on a performer, regard as my record company's high level's Shan Shan, to my tension level completely have covered TVB, continuously TVB also propose I agree fulfill my agreement and give to Shan Shan, we have tried continuously with your manager to make agreement for an idea. Up until received advertisement and want to air it, only then discover we need a relationship. These things only can build from a relationship of trust. I think the entertainment world is basically difficult to happen.

In his final installment of his week long exclusive interview with the sun Ekin talked about his first book which will be published next week. The book is part photographs, part story. Actually Ekin thought about the content for a long time. Initially he wanted to write the kind of book that talked about crisis conscience, because he thinks that too many people in Hong Kong believe that they will always be fortunate, so if they run into a crisis they find it difficult to respond to the changes. Ekin is an extreme crisis conscience type of person, even though he has run into low points in his life he has been able to successfully weather them. However he finally had to think about the market for the book and so changed direction.

Ekin's record of schooling isn't high, and so he hadn't thought he would have the chance to produce a book, but everything was due to the company boss's wife 梁芷珊 suggestion. She has supported all the artists signed with the company to produce books. Originally I was hesitant, but recently I filmed a TV special program in Thailand which gave me a new insight into human life. After that he decided to accept this new challenge.

So the first idea of a crisis conscience book was because there isn't any book of this kind. Start off from my own experiences, I don't have a shortage of secure feelings, I merely felt that Hong Kong people are too content, even I have this kind of environment, very easy to have a lack of crisis conscience. This aspect is important because events, people and love can change at any time. After I talked this over with the company we changed to another form, of course it still has a part of my original idea.

I am a crisis conscience person, do things most important is do things at home, but I am lazy, very easy to lose the homemade capability. When meet with things you don't understand it is necessary to reflect, the most simple example is that you should work everyday. There are people who don't treasure this feel being fortunate is a necessity, but today have the opportunity to eat, tomorrow not necessarily the same. I was enlightened about this once when I was in Japan for skiing, there was a 60 year old man who operated the ski lift, but to the foreign people he seemed to embrace his work with completely serious attitude, each time he did everything with all his strength and ability, he completely valued his own work. If you now think about Hong Kong people, possible will have the spirit, but the second year will not necessarily put in the same effort. Additionally, when I went to South Africa to film an advertisement, I prepared a lot of essential items to take with me. In fact in South Africa in a short 30 minute drive the air temperature can differ a lot, at any time can be freezing, but in Hong Kong there is not this kind of crisis, on a thirty minute drive the temperature probably wouldn't alter much so neglect this kind of crisis. because I prepare a lot, people say I belong to some kind of military school, I agree, because even if there is a time when my work capacity suddenly falls it is likely that before I have already made provisions so I am not afraid of being caught unaware.

I have some apprehension as to the sales of the book, how will the market receive it? However, I have a friend who is also an author, she is 梁佩瑚 and she lives in Canada but her books are available here, always she has a good reaction, I see her achievement. I feel if make an effort I can also experience with this offering.

Last night Ekin attended the Hong Kong premiere of The Phantom of The Opera together with many other celebrities. Ekin was asked about the reports of Gigi going to Thailand to find him. Ekin just bowed to them and immediately left to go upstairs without discussing it, however, he dropped his ticket, and had to return for it, which made him feel awkward.

A few days ago in Thailand, Ekin, Alex Fong, Stephen Fung and Hu Bing were filming some intense scenes. Ekin and Hu Bing's relationship in the movie is 8 years ago. Ekin plays a gangster middle man. However, his Black Society status is unable to save him from prison. Hu Bing in trying to save him receives a scar on her back. Eight years later when Ekin is released from prison is where the story starts.

This afternoon at the BMA Publishing house Ekin presented his new Book " Looking into Ekin's Eyes" to the public. Also in attendance were Nikki, Grasshopper, Jade and Jerry. The book contains his personal photographs, taken on his various travels over the last year, to co-ordinate with the text which talks about his innermost feelings.

Ekin didn't write the book himself, he merely narrated and some one else wrote the words. Journalists asked why he didn't make a sound recording and produce a CD so every one could hear his opinions on life and feelings. Ekin replied that he felt that such a CD was out of fashion and outdated. However, to coordinate with the theme of the book he has recorded a new song. Reader's can hear it at the BMA web site. Ekin said that he was very excited at this publication of his book, reporters wanted to know who he would give the book to as a gift. He didn't answer right away hesitating to be sure to say the right thing, and then said he would give himself one and his parents. Reporter's immediately asked, what about Gigi? However Ekin did not answer them. After he added that he would give to his friends, because in the book is his life experience opinions, so appear his school classmates, his training course classmates, and also his feelings about love. In the book is the sentence:

"People say the beginning of love is difficult, ending a relationship is difficult, I think both these things are difficult, even getting along with each other is difficult."

He was asked whether it talked about this year's feelings. Ekin said " Obviously, I wrote it this year, but these are merely my observatins on love." Reporters persisted as to whether this was the focal point. Ekin said this thing is not the emphasis. Ekin also said he still has an intention to write a novel, to produce a cartoon style love story, then he hopes can film it and become a movie.

BMA performers, Ekin, Nikki, Grasshopper, recently all together have produced books, this afternoon they arrived at the Book Fair to publicize their books. Although it was a whirlwind affair and they only stayed 15 minutes, nevertheless they drew more than two hundred fans which filled the area to capacity.

BMA published the books for their performers at 2 pm the arrived, and met with the media and fans, Before the event started the vendor location was already packed with people this caused the actors a problem to have to push through the jostling crowd. Finally security had to open a path for them and Ekin, Nikki, Grasshopper, and Jerry and his wife appeared on stage. Ekin was asked if he had a problem with the madness of the fans. He indicated that once the path was opened there was no problem .

Ekin said that he felt that overseas sales might no be popular, but he didn't know the Hong Kong sales volume. He has plans to write a novel, he said he had thought about the story for a long time, he would take the pictures. He was asked if he would write it himself. He laughed and said that if he did it would be very slow, so most likely he would again find someone to write it.

In the past Ekin has produced photo albums, he hoped that a person of his age still could make such a book, perhaps on the subject of sports. He would take the pictures. Certainly it would include swimming. Of course reporters asked if he would wear swim trunks, Ekin laughed and said that he had done so before but then it was other people who had published the pictures.

He feels that actors should be many faceted. He also said that if the opportunity arose he would like to play a cartoon character again, like Stormrider's Whispering Wind. However, if he played such a character again, the investment would be huge, because the special effects would cost a lot of money.

Ekin with Jordan Chan were the judges for 'Beautiful Kitchen' this week. He said his mother was a great cook . Ekin refused to answer any questions about cooking for Gigi or whether Gigi had been a good cook, he merely laughed and said he couldn't remember. Jordan added that these day both men and women entered the kitchen, and many women didn't know how to cook. The females on the show were Amanda Strang, Niki and Fennie Yuan.

Amanda didn't understand the mandarin of the chef and finally swore in English. Jordan used his limited English to sweet talk her and offer her a soda. He also pretended to really like her dishes, but when asked whether he really liked Amanda he said that this was playing nothing more.

It was Niki's first time to cook anything, she was afraid and took sufficient safety measures. Fennie boiled crab, but she wasn't careful and was pinched by the crab.

When it came time to judge, Ekin said because in the same record company he had to help Niki on her first time in the kitchen, so he gave her 10 points. Jordan though gave Amanda 10 points. Ekin knows his way around the kitchen. Ekin likes to eat pan fried beef strips, but he said that this is mostly too extravagant, because the quality has to be good. Reporters asked when he selects a new girlfriend will she have to be good in the kitchen. Ekin said not necessarily, more and more women don't understand how to cook, and between men and women there was more equality. This kind of program popularizes cooking and that is good. Most surprising there is in the home not able to make dumplings for new year, so all will go out to eat.
