Ekin together with Eric Kwok, Grace Yip, Mani, Jerry Lam and his wife, Nikki, and the BMA boss and his wife went to see <软硬天师 Long Time No See concert> Grasshopper were the special guests. Despite the current bad weather in Hong Kong more than 10,000 fans braved the wind and rain and the concert was sold out.

The Thailand based Peng Brothers are famous for such horror films as The Eye series, which have been very successful. Their new movie 《森冤》 staring Shu Qi and Ekin will premiere in October. For the first time the Peng Bros will release their suspense (horror) movie on the Mainland. In an interview yesterday afternoon Peng Brothers talked about the movie. They feel that a horror movie has a fixed type of audience, who are interested in this type of movie, so they have an accurate idea of the movie's success.
The Mainland's movie investigative system, is very sensitive to horror movies, however the directors explained that they know the Mainland's rules. The movie is not a horror and doesn't have ghosts, it is a standard suspense movie.
The movie is reminiscent of the Blair Witch Project. In Japan there is a mysterious forest where already lovers have disappeared without a trace. Shu Qi plays the part of a person who is searching long to find the whereabouts of these people. She drags Ekin to come to this mysterious forest. While following the track searching the couple find it difficult to stop their emotions, they also fall into the mysterious forest lover's curse.
The Peng Brothers pointed that this forest really does exist in Japan. Each year almost 50 people commit suicide in that place. The forest is very well known in Japan, and this was the inspiration for this story.

Peng Brother's new film 《森冤》 wil be released in mainland China in October. Ekin and Shu Qi star in this movie. The story takes material from the Japanese authentic mysterious forest. It is believed that many people commit suicide there, but usually only see the letters left, the people disappear without trace.

Once again the Hong Kong paparazzi are printing gossip concerning Niki and Ekin. The latest publication points to gossip that the two have been secret partners for at least 6 months. Niki, who yesterday was attending an environmental protection activity with Jade, was pursued by reporters on this question. Niki's face showed her contempt for the reporters, in a filthy mood said she had emphasized many times repeatedly that such a situation is an impossibility. Both person's manager Lam Shan Shan also spoke about the report on the telephone, she said that the paparazzi need photographic proof, and also said the gossip reports were laughable. She additionally challenged the paparazzi to follow and take a picture.

BMA will release their new movie, from director Liu Guo Cheng " My Name is Fame" on September 1, 2006. Ekin, Niki and Grasshopper all have guest appearances in the movie. The movie is about the behind the scenes life of a movie star, and how the ordinary people think a celebrity life actually is. The movie then explores the reality.

Last night Ekin together with several other celebrities attended an evening charity screening of "Ant Bully" <别惹蚂蚁>.
Ekin indicated that he liked children, and was immediately asked when he would become a father. He exploded, Because he likes children several years ago he adopted two persons, a son and daughter, He loves them very much, celebrates holidays in an old fashioned way and sends them a card to communicate affection. However when asked when he would become a father his reaction extremely big saying " I don't have a girlfriend, how am I going to become a father?" When pressed if he would want to be a father, he added the he indeed wanted it, but he would please himself when. He smiled and said he would have a tendency to be a strict father, children's courtesy and politeness he would take very seriously.
Ekin was asked about Niki. He pointed to the last few days on the internet, that said she was discourteous to fans when signing autographs for them, and Niki suffered a lot of critism there. Ekin didn't have a direct answer. He wanted to say that it should stop. He said he hadn't seen it before.He indicated that things on the internet were difficult to talk about and he couldn't comment if he hadn't seen it with his own eyes. Then they asked if in his eyes whether Nikki was polite and courteous. Ekin had just one comment, He said that training course members were all polite and courteous. he was asked if Niki was the same generation as him, he immediately said" next generation but doesn't matter all have same."

Ekin arrived in Taiwan he was immediately surrounded by fans looking for autographs. He really is extremely charismatic. It was arranged for him to be on the entertainment news, but also in the program is Gigi. When Eken saw the character list he wasn't angry. Nevertheless his smile he start to hide, the staff's smiles also were lost. Also they seized the chance to ask him his feelings for his past love. Ekin immediately said he was not going to turn around and eat the same grass.
Ekin really likes Taiwanese cuisine, he further took the staff to the restaurant opposite for a meal, In the evening he went again for hotpot. after he returned to the restaurant to rest a little while, later he went out alone, in fact he had a secret engagement, the fact is it is rare for Ekin to come to Taiwan. Fans got together and waited outside the restaurant door, Ekin came and signed autographs for them.

Ekin's latest TV Drama, Always Ready is to air in Taiwan on August 30,2006. TVBS because they know that Ekin likes to play video games gave him a Nintendo DS with a helicopter simulation game, Ekin immediately took the remote control to test his control capability.

Yesterday, Ekin was in Taiwan to publicize the TVB drama " Always Ready" which will begin to air in Taiwan on August 30, 2006. He held a press conference at the Far East restaurant. Until now Ekin has been teased that his Mandarin was not good, the Master of Ceremonies felt that his Mandarin still had not progressed. So they devised a test for him. Ekin has never publicized his TV dramas in Taiwan, he was asked to read aloud and go through the past years dramas he starred in. Seems to be Stormriders, Face to Face, Always Ready, etc. After he finished reading almost is one character not mistake, Ekin was happy, he laughed and said his Mandarin had progressed, but regarding his Mandarin not good's criticism and also is line up's professional first names, Ekin laughed and said, " That is my personal characteristic, everyone will compare and remember me!"
Ekin is currently single so there were four of Taiwanese girls each with a different characteristic. Ekin was asked to select which would be his ideal partner. So as not to offend Ekin explained that all 4 were very good, but Mandarin not too good so he decline to say which one. While he was at the scene he had a big smile.
In Always Ready he is a GFS rescue team member, he often has dangerous scenes, when he is lowered from the helicopter, . Also it has let him return to television after many years, plus he very much liked the challenge. In the past he filmed ancient dramas, in this drama he felt that hanging on a wire was a lot of fun, can fly back and forth.
The media most wanted to know about his relationship feelings, but Ekin is " everybody, thank you very much for your concern" as reply to the question. Also he has already answered, asked if he might he return to a former love, he explained " the past is past" Recently there has been frequent gossip targeting Niki, Ekin said, that she was in his same company's younger sister, and also her personality was more like a boy, so she finds it easy to get along with everybody. It is only an ordinary friend type of relationship. But this leaves everyone room to indulge in imagination.
Went on to talk about Gillian's improper photographs as she changed clothes, asked Ekin if he felt he has received the same treatment, He in the past has had the paparazzi peep into his home, he is fearful that his privacy dissipates, so doesn't exist. But reporters in Hong Kong even more relentess than Taiwan, also he is eternally quizzed about his feelings for Gigi and Maggie, Ekin is somewhat numb concerning the reports that he visited Maggie's apartment, once again he said that the past is past, and only is remember that's all. Ekin is busy publicizing his latest TVB drama Always Ready. Today he used his cordial Mandarin on the entertainment program " Front Line Entertainment" on TVB8. This program always specialized in bringing the audience the fastest latest entertainment news to all regions of Ethnic Chinese.

Ekin , Niki, Sean Lau attended the premiere ceremony in a public square. The female lead wore a strapless dress which exposed a lot of skin. Ekin is a pretty good actor, yet he feels his career is incomplete. The ability to put out an album is not at all equal to his thoughts. Also the events with Maggie and Gigi have served cause him to become in peoples eyes a lose heart man. The leading role in this BMA movie is not one of their own, but regarding the sponsor's actor Ekin, he explained that this was not a mental disequilibrium, and went on to say that uniting like this is very powerful. Every body works hard for the sake of their movie careers. Sean Lau and Ho Si Yan have some intense emotions in the movie, however as one would wish there were not any embarrassments. Sean said that he has had such scenes with a number of female actresses, this it an actors work., he also kind of enjoys filming. Regarding his newcomer leading lady, he was full of praise for her work.
Ekin is only a guest performer in this movie. He spoke of having to wait 3 days to film the scenes. Reporters asked him if before he had any embarrassing times. Ekin spoke of his training course days, when the leader in front of everyone pointed him out as not able to do anything right, but that leader doesn't need to explain. He was asked if the generation before him looked down on him. but Ekin said they didn't, and also he didn't disturb new actors. Ekin didn't avoid mentioning that he had being a director as a goal. If he accomplished this, then his next goal would to be a manager. He would establish Ekin's General Affairs, he said he consistently has interest in the behind the scenes work. Usually he films and makes albums and also participates in the behind the scenes work. Ekin indicated that he would like to pursue this.
Earlier Ekin, by a weekly publication, was secretly filmed in his home for a month. Regarding the similar thing that happened to Gillian of the Twins, Ekin explained all he had ever said was that he was waiting for the Government to do something. But now the events affect Hong Kong celebrities, this is comparatively serious, it just causes people to to even more follow with interest. Now any action will be too late,as he explained before this just can't happen. He was asked if his comments were directed ar a particular publication, Ekin said that those secretly film people would of course be the first to be affected, however, in fact it is incessant with one publication. The mood is significant, the secret filming still can influence everybody's children.
Additionally, the actors with the worst Mandarin, first is Ron Ng, second is Louis Koo and third is Ekin, Ekin laughed and said he completely took offence that Ron Ng stole his first place. Now he will no longer be first in the posted list of names. He said that it had been a long time since he was in Taiwan for any kind of promotion, he had believed wrongly that everyone would have forgotten him, but they still remembered.

Ekin seems to have managed to get rid of all the names with a ‘其’ women. Besides his old girlfriends Maggie and Gigi, he has also been linked by gossip to Niki and Shu Qi. Both of his girlfriends together have held him for 14 years, interestingly he has had his same hairdresser， John, for 13 years.
Ekin explained that human life has it's ups and downs. Long time friends are most important. In the good times, nothing want, everyday very busy working, come home and go to bed, then comes the low times, only then can be quiet and things carefully think about what you genuinely want to do, both stages feel end yet he has enjoyed them. He thinks that his 'single' state doesn't have very many opportunities to to meet, the next part is when that can appear, but he completely selects to please himself. He doesn't have a time constraint. There are a few people for whom a first look they seem very beautiful. Nevertheless without the opportunity to develop a relationship , even if really want to get to know them.
In the past gossip has pointed to the fact that Ekin likes electronic games and consequently neglected Gigi causing her to be completely unhappy. Ekin specially wanted to clear this up saying, " impossible" However the package he received in Taiwan contained a Nintendo DS game machine, Ekin said, "The first year I made money, I went out and bought a game machine, when I go abroad I take it only then have a secure feeling, but in fact I don't often play.
