The summer action movie Two Heroes is costing at least $3 million HK. The first poster for the movie shows the two lead actors Ekin Cheng Yee-Kin and Leon Li Ming restrained in handcuffs. When asked why handcuffs were used for both actors, the reason given was that both suffer from the name hero and it makes trouble for them.
The explosion action scenes are very dangerous. The director and the action director praised Ekin and Leon for their preparation and hard work to accomplish the script.
The boss revealed earlier today that they will produce and edit a part of the film for KangCheng film festival. They are hoping for a very good reaction. They have already purchased export licenses for Europe and many nations, including Japan and South Korea.

Ekin recently shot an advertisment with two blond girls for Jorano a mainland casual clothing company. Ekin is naturally shy and so of course could not initiate the conversation. The girls asked him how he selected the English name Ekin for his acting name.
Ekin said, "If you
invert Ekin the name belong to a name brand sport clothing company. I tried
hard to use all the English I have learned, from my studies, to talk to the
beautiful women. I was surprised at how well I did.
Reporters asked him if he had asked the girls for their telephone numbers. Ekin
was too shy but he hoped they would ask him for his number, and he was disappointed
when they didn't.
For this advertisment Ekin again earned an appreciable renumeration, a six digit figure. Originally the advertisment was to be shot in Mainland China, but because of SARS they stayed in Hong Kong for the shoot. This meant he could be together with family menbers for the Dragon Boat Festival, so home becomes most perfect.
For the advertisment I model many changes. It is all laborious because the company will produce a book of the products and my interview.

Ekin is still working with Leon and Zhen Yu on the movie Two Heroes. Because they still have to repeat the explosion scene, however, before the end of the month they will be completing filming. The reason is that Zhen Yu will begin another movie on the 17th July. Also Ekin will begin to promote the romantic comedy To Make a Girlfriend with Vicky Zhao Wei. Ekin's summer vacation will be first one movie and then another movie, in the next months he will be unimaginably busy.
Earlier Ekin and Zhao Wei made the movie posters for To Make a Girlfriend. The movie is a love story and very funny. Zhao Wei's character is a plain un attractive woman at the beginning of the film and she falls in love with Ekin at first sight.
The two stars are also quite funny modelling for the posters. Ekin exagerates by wearing a flash showoff beaded waistcoat pretending to match the 1970's complete with curly hair.
Ekin couldn't help but laugh, " Really this belongs to my mother's era. Honestly I am not that flash."

The movie Two Heroes staring Cheng Yee-Kin, Li Ming, Wu Zhen-Yu and Lin Jia-Xin completed filming today. The actors celebrated with champagne.
Lin Jia-Xin and Ekin after Floating Landscapes collaborated again in the movie Two Heroes. They have therefore become good friends. Ekin said that the filming had been very serious work although he had welcomed the male lead part, however the director was very solemn and rigorous. Lin found it difficult to follow the direction so Ekin would explain the directors annotations to her which made her much happier.
Lin said that Ekin teased her all the time that she was short and fat, but Ekin said that it was just teasing and in fact she has a slender body.
Ekin also discussed the newspaper reports that he did not get along with Li Ming. Ekin expressed that on a film set the actors and workers are a community and to write such dividing reports was not good, however he had not read the article.
Finally he was asked if he would sing the movie theme song. Ekin said that he would not be able to because currently he has no recording contract, and it will be September before he can make arrangements to change that. He felt therefore, that Li Ming should sing the theme. He emphasized that he is busy publicizing To Make a Girlfriend and soon The Twins Effect.

Today Ekin and the other stars of the movie Twins Effect attended the Premiere of Twins Effect in Times Square, Causeway Bay. Group and individual pictures were taken. In the group pictures Ekin was standing in the front but he was asked to move because some people were blocked and couldn't be seen. Ekin eventually went to stand in the back row but he was very much on the side of the picture. However, Ekin did not make a fuss he just tolerated the new position.
Because of his next movie Ekin has cut his hair very short. Reporters commented that it looked very much like it did when he was the host of the children's program 430.
Ekin said that many people explain his short hair this way, but actually there is some change, after all this program was more than ten years ago. Before now for the sake of his image he dare not cut his hair short, now he is comfortable with his image and so feels more free. But this time he has to react to a movie situation and the change in his hair is necessary.

Ekin took part in a program on 903 to publicise his new movie To Make a Girlfriend. Of course he was asked if he was concerned that Gigi would have a problem with it. They also mentioned reports that Gigi is completely thrifty and that she strolls past many stores before buying anything and then may even return it.
You really don't know her. If she goes to buy a shirt all the reporters follow where ever she goes. There's nothing wrong with being thrifty.
They also talked a lot about Ekin's ocean experiences, especially now that Ekin
has achieved the tests for a boat license. They asked him whether it was romantic
to go on the ocean with Gigi.
I have always been in love with the idea of spending my leisure time on the ocean. Now I own a 25 foot small boat. Gigi and I live together on the ocean. Gigi is the type who doesn't like to sunbathe, I go on the ocean with my family, when it is beautifully clear right! I don't sail in cloudy weather because the wind is strong and it is dangerous.

Ekin , The Twins, Josie Ho and Edison Chen were in Singapore to promote the Twins Effect. They were interviewed by the media nonstop. In the evening, together with the director and other dignitaries from EEG, the whole cast held a celebration banquet to celebrate the good box office ticket sales.
The day before, Ekin took time out from his schedule to have dinner with his fans at Boon Tong Kee.
