Ekin went to the opening of a restaurant called the Ice Oyster Bar today. The owner of the restaurant, Mr. Lau was Ekin's martial arts teacher at the TVB Martial Arts school.

On the day last month when Ekin and Gigi went to dinner and then shopping, Ekin's former girlfriend was seen eating only a lunch box for dinner. Their comments made out that Ekin was rich and Maggie was so poor and she had to eat alone.

Ekin said that this was not true. All actors have lunch boxes when they are working, it just means that they are busy and cannot take the time to sit down for dinner. He said that at home he also eats something simple like noodles.

Ekin also said that he and Gigi only went to look in Cartiers he did not to buy anything. It was the reporters who were shopping in Cartiers because they are rich.

Ekin was making cookies for the Hong Kong Leukemia Foundation's holiday fundraiser. Ekin made a cookie in the shape of a Christmas tree.

Ekin participated in EEG's Third Aniversary Concert. He did not participate in the opening and was not introduced. Almost at the end of the concert he sang part of Roman Tam's song.

Ekin looked very good and wore a black jacket over a white shirt and blue jeans. He was pleased to see that many of his fans were there.

Shan Shan said although Mr Ng of EEG had arranged for Ekin to make a performance, Ekin had not time to rehearse because of his busy schedule. Every one thought that is was suitable for Ekin to be the one to sing Roman's song. She also said that EEG were planning to release a new album for Ekin in March or April next year.

After the rehearsal in the afternoon, all the EEG singers held a press conference and posed for photographs but Ekin left quietly because he had a meeting with the director for his next movie.

Ekin attended the Hong Kong Cancer Foundation charity function. He donated money to the the foundation. Every person who donates money has a Christmas Tree with their name on a red star at the top of the tree.

Ekin is planning to make a movie with Director Kwan Kam Pang in January next year. Kwan Kam Pang worked with Ekin on the Stop Smoking MTV.

At present he is still shooting The Twin's Effect. He said he may film another romantic comedy since the box office of My Wife is 18 was a success. Many directors have approached Ekin to star in their movies. But Ekin said he must look at the scripts carefully before he can decide which one to make.

Ekin also made a commercial with Canon for a digital camera. Ekin spent about 5 hours to make the comercial. He had to lie on a couch for many hours and he said that it made his neck very sore. He said that the air neck cushion he bought in Japan had proved very useful during the shoot. Ekin made more than $1,000,000 HK for the commercial.

The photographs are in magazines, on the side of Hong Kong buses and in the subway.

Reporter's said that Gigi had made a commercial for Olympus and Ekin for Canon. Ekin said that they can use the digital cameras to take photos for each other.

Ekin said he would not renew his contract with EEG when it expires in 2003. He admitted that he is working on movies more than singing. Ekin said that he was an actor before he was a singer. He also admitted that since EEG didn't do many promotions for him, he is not as 'popular' as before.

Ekin's friend and Shan Shan's brother Jerry Lam will get married tomorrow. Ekin will attend his wedding party.

On Sunday Ekin went to Kwun Ming, China, for a Tag Heurer promotion. Some of the Chinese fans hugged Ekin when they saw him. Ekin was very embarrased, but he said that fans in different countries react differently. When he was in Japan the Japanese fans kissed him and that was more embarrassing.

Ekin was invited to be a guest at Jordan Chan's Concerts on January 1st and 2nd 2003. Ekin rehearsed with Jordan before leaving for Taiwan where Ekin had also been invited to be a guest on Taiwan's Count-down to the New Year.
