Cher's(
Chingmy Yao) father owns a construction business. On Cher's birthday a deal
they have made with goes sour. To make matters worse Cher's current boyfriend
chooses that night to break up with her. Totally distraught, her friend Sorry
(Amanda Lee) tries to help her look more attractive to men. Unfortunately they
only attract two gay men.
The next day they are to go boating with the new business partners, unfortunately, they are late and the boat sails without them. While on the dock Cher is seen by Mountain Lam ( Kong Wa) on the dock, her skirt blowing in the wind. Mountain is disabled and has been unable to be excited by a woman. On encountering Cher he feels a stiring for the first in five years. Sharing with this revelation with his brother, Water ( Ekin Cheng) vows he will find this woman for his brother. To this end he enlists the help of their family friend the openly gay Honey ( Michael Wong).

Some days later, after it becomes clear to Cher that the construction deal is
over and her father's company is left holding the debt, she decides to talk
to the Hong Kong ofice of the parent company. Unknown to her this company is
owned by Mountain and Water Lam. Waiting to see Mr Lam, Cher worries that he
will be a wolf and take her advantage. Meeting Water in the lobby, not knowing
who he, is she gets him to show her Mr. Lams office. Seeing the picture on the
desk she realises that it is the disabled guy who was staring at her on the
pier.

Hearing this Water realizes that this is the girl his brother has been looking for. He proposes that she become a birthday present for his brother to try to help with his sexual problem. Cher is horrified, but Water agrees to pay her sufficient to erase her father's debts. She has no choice but to agree but insists on a contract. Her family solicitor (Andy Lau) helps her negotiate the contract. Honey is engaged to teach her.

Watching the progress, Water
becomes increasingly attracted to her, even though he also is desperate to help
his brother. Working together he and Honey tantalise his brother with her to
the point that his brother can think of nothing else but posessing this girl.
Finally they get him to hire her as his secretary.

The training at Honey's home
continues. Cher's friend, Sorry and Honey develop a love hate relationship.
When Honey suggests that she do a strip dance Cher refuses and leaves. Followed
by Water, who is socially inept when it comes to women, he promises to do 10
things for her as long as she doesn't break the contract. Cher is already attracted
to Water but he doesn't know it. She uses him to take revenge on her ex boyfriend,
her solicitor and finally makes him watch the sun rise with her.

Mountain's birthday looms
and Cher begins to put the plan into action. Water cannot deal with it and tells
her to break the contract. She refuses, as she has a plan of her own to reunite
Mountain with his estranged wife, whom he really still loves. When she leaves
to date Mountain, Water still owes her 2 more things. She tells him her plans
but she makes him promise not to follow her. He tries to resist telling her
that she is his, but she insists.

Unable to let this happen
Water sets off in pursuit. They are not at the places she said she would be,
and Water becomes increasingly frantic and frustrated as he searches for her.
Even to the point of breaking into her home to try to find her. Finally realizing
that she is at Honey's he races there.

Arriving he is about to go
up and burst in on his brother when Cher calls him from another part of the
room. Uncomprehending, Cher reveals that it is actually Mountain's wife who
he is with and everything is working out beautifullly. Water is so relieved
that he proposes on the spot. Cher tells him that the final thing he must do
for her is to love her forever. A task to which he is only too willing to agree.

This movie has a definitely
sexual untertone and is certainly not tasteful, the premise of using the sexy
Chingmy Yao as a high class hooker is a touch sleazy and the movie spends a
lot of time revelling in her sexiness. That said, she is an excellent actress
who does very well in the role. it is clear that the hot blooded Lam brothers
can't help but be attracted to her.

Ekin Cheng is endearing and
naive in this movie, making him instantly appealing. His character's ineptitude
wiith women is fresh and amusing, as he struggles with his attraction to Cher
and his perceived obligation to his brother. It is clear that Water feels responsible
for his brothers predicament and is at great pains to remedy it. As always Ekin
portrays the anguish excellently, and the audience feels for his predicament
as he races to reclaim the woman he loves.

Michael Wong plays the gay
character Honey extremely well, maybe a little to well. The side plot or constant
sparring with Cher's friend Sorry is also used to further the current political
ideal that gays should indeed become straight in the end. Amanda Lee is also
wonderful as Wong's sparring partner and the two of them fight constantly through
out the movie. This provides a romantic backdrop for the increasing love affair
growing between Ekin and Chingmy.

Wong Jing's romantic comedy
may be considered offensive in parts but it is a good movie and emminently watchable.
All the actors put in excellent performances. Everything is politically correct
in the end. The married Mountain is reunited with his wife, Gay Honey is romantically
happy with Sorry and single Water and Cher are able to finally marry

The movie is put out by
Mei Ah and is available on vcd and dvd. There are non removeable English and
Chinese subtitles.
