TVB Weekly #444 - 12/13/2005

After passing through 3 weeks of warm-up, the overall realization was that the flying team are most important to Hong Kong. Go mountains, go ocean, to any danger, disaster moment, rescue citizens daily. We know except for the police and firefighters also have a team called GFS ( Government Flying Service) team. This special district government team support people are the fewest in number, however the scope of the service is broad. This sharp team for everyone is Always Ready.

However in the drama, the number of people willing to go into fire and water to rescue citizens numbers 10 people. Among them 2nd grade winch man Matthew Ko and flying team duty doctor Carrie Chiang, they broke their day to accept a publication spread interview and solve the details for everyone.

"My preparation was laborious, otherwise when we film do what?" Ekin as Matthew Ko firmly said. Charmaine added that " Being a rescue person, that kind of satisfying feeling, nothing else can compare."

When filming was difficult they absolutely didn't mind, they only wanted to be able to cause everyone to cultivate the team's silent dedication to service for people. Besides still learning to understand that even when want to rescue others, will first need to learn to rescue yourself. This is a human life career's truth.

Group Small, Power Great

At first Ekin like everyone else only partially know about GFS, once filming was finished only then realized Hong Kong able to embrace a team and agree to use more resources to rescue one person falling down a mountain cliff, such a rescue team is a civilized society's symbol. Ekin said that filming Always Ready he discovered he needed to go beyond, " To match GFS image ask me cut my long hair. Very big sacrifice! Still I have an obedient discipline, ask what time you want me to do what, at first a little not used to it, but then realize I too have discipline habit.

However, the most difficult was to learn at half high altitude condition to drop into the water. "Because I wear a helmet and adding the impact strength it was very easy to make a mistake and be injured, so have to learn to protect myself first. Still have to actually do it, quickly become speed and air currents, some people can do it no problem, but I also have dizzyness, doomed not to be able to make GFS team." Ekin understands why originally GFS accepts more than 100 students. Finally have 3 or 4 with the talent to become team members.

6 Years Later

The last time Ekin accepted a television drama was Face to Face six years ago. " When start this was happy also it was a mysterious series to watch. I was familiar with the surroundings but there were more people and so felt needed space to rest. However I still have a cast contract. When I entered my record company I knew Bowie Lam, as to Charmaine I had seen her do dramas and thought she was very natural, but only approximately know one or two. I like to become friends with this kind of woman because a good connection.

Bravest Moment

Be an actor! Know I have more than 10 years of friends who all know me as a very introverted person. Dare not put myself forward, but now I'm less distant. Didn't enter this experience by passing a test , but participate. In the past this experience summon me enter class to study martial arts, that able to think of 3 months later by OUT ,exit room. Between went to do language group, certainly think painful. Feel myself still like this profession, advantageous again to study one time acting training class. ( 30 weeks training class). That time very many people feel for me( impossible to do it) especially as is second training class, among my classmates have people say" you won't make it" caused me to be even more determined. Bravely face my own weakness. Finally made actor.

Rescue Person Action

In the past people have done bad things, but they didn't admit it, others thought it was me and I was unable to deny it, that happens in life. But for the sake of helping friends only set out to assist change, This then isn't special. However, I have the reverse rescue experience. I remember when I was in middle school, very popular in Temple Street were these kind of western pants, that kind feel very typical, but workmanship very poor, who knew have a time be mortified. Pair of pants suddenly pop slip down my legs. Don't know how embarrassed! Immediately, slowly leave enter bathroom. In between find a person ask whether have a needle and thread. Even more agree to help me sew back together. I remember this happening, I really very much thank her for rescuing my life.
